In Between

Life is sometimes crazy. My reflexology business has been slow in the last year because my life has been fast. I have been teaching full time, working on my master's part time, and trying to run my own business. Usually when I have to much going on in my life, one thing eventually has to take the back burner. I hate to admit it, but it's true. Reflexology took that forgotten place at the back of the stove.

Recently, however, there have been blustering winds of change that have purified my vision and I can see my path again. I have quit my teaching job and put my house up for sale. In a declaration to make sure that reflexology has priority, I have realized that I must take the opportunity to move. I am in between jobs, in between houses, and in between friends. Ever been in that place? I'm sure I'm not the only one.

So in honor of being "in between", this post will feature the ear reflexology point that is located between the last two toes on the bottom of the foot. Using the tip of your thumb, rotate in circles on this point for 5 seconds. Then press down on the ear point and hold for another 5 seconds. If this point is tender, take a break and come back to it later. Repeat this until the pain subsides. The ear reflex point can show sensitivities for an number of reasons. Allergies, common cold, problems with the teeth, or old injuries are just to name a few. Remember that reflexology does not diagnose. It is just a tool to bring awareness.
