How to Relieve Insomnia

Insomnia is a condition that has been on my mind lately mainly because I have been suffering from it. My struggle with sleep is nowhere near as bad as it used to be but every now and then I go through phases. If you battle with insomnia regularly or occasionally, reflexology can help. If you're one of those lucky people who don't have a problem with sleep, keep reading. You could learn how to help someone you know. The feature reflex point for today is the pineal reflex point.
The Pineal Point
The pineal reflex point is located on the top of the big toe near the corner of the nail. Put pressure on this point for a few seconds and then rotate the tip of your thumb. Putting pressure on this point can stimulate the pineal gland that is in charge of melatonin secretion. Melatonin is an essential hormone for sleep. The pineal reflex point is in the same position on both feet. Here is video that shows how to work the pineal reflex.

Keep in mind that reflexology is not a cure. But taking the time to take care of your body will prove to be beneficial.
