I do not like flying but sometimes it is necessary. One of the reasons for my dislike of traveling by plane is I get nauseous. Altitude sickness hits me nearly the minute the wheels leave the runway. Up until recently I had to take a motion sickness pill in order to make it through any flight. Another reason I would rather not fly is the pressure I feel in my ears. Most of people that fly have experienced the discomfort of the ears needing to pop. I, however, can count on excruciating pain that will not go away. Since I learned reflexology, I have a natural and effective way to combat the nausea and the pain.
The stomach and ear reflex point
If you find yourself on a plane and you think you might hurl, working your stomach point on your hands can help. Working on your ear point will help your ears pop and in severe cases lessen the pain. In the video below I show you first how to work the stomach point and then how to work the ear point. The reflex points are the same on both hands. Continue working the points until you feel relief.
