Sinus problems are no fun. Most of the people I work on have an issue with their sinuses. Reflexology can really help in this area. I have seen someone's sinuses actuually decongest during a treatment. I have also helped myself breathe cavity by working on my reflex points before bed.Right now, where I live, we are going through a drought. There have been numerous wild fires and fierce winds. There is so much smoke, debris, pollen, dirt, (you name it) in the air right now and no rain to bring it back down. People's sinus cavities are suffering severely. And this brings me to the feature reflex point for today.
Sinus Reflex Points
The sinus reflex points are basically all of your toes not including the big toe. To work the area you will need to use the Thumb Walking Technique mentioned in my post last week. (To take a look at the video by Kevin and Barbara Kunz, search my previous posts). "Walk" up each side of the toe starting at the base and working up to the top. Next, "walk" up the bottom side of the toe also starting at the base and working to the top. About half way up the toe, stop "walking" and slide your thumb the rest of the way up. Do this to all four small toes. If you find a that one or more of the toes are sensitive, keep working on the area.
If you don't see results right away, that does not mean that nothing happened. Our bodies process things differently. Working on my clients has taught me that. One person might not notice anything for a few days and others notice a change almost immediately. Remember that the purpose for reflexology is to maintain a balance in your system. Staying aware of your body is most important.
