How to Relieve Your Headache

Headaches are a problem we all face from time to time. Some of us are unfortunate enough to be plagued with migraines. Although reflexology isn't a cure for headaches, it can help help with the pain. The feature reflex point for today is T1.
T1
T1 stands for thoracic vertebrae and it is the reflex point for the 1st vertebrae of your spine where your neck connects to your head. On the foot, this reflex point is locate on the outside of the big toe right beneath the toenail. With the tip of your thumb, rotate into this point for a few seconds. If it is sensitive you know you've hit the spot. Reapply pressure every few seconds until the point is less tender. You can do this same technique on your hand. T1 reflex point is locate on the outside of the thumb just beneath the thumbnail. I have used hand reflexology many times while I'm at work. The reflex points on the hand are basically the same as the feet with a few variations. Give it try next time you notice a headache coming on. It just might keep you from having to pop a pill.
