How to Relieve Gas Pains

Yes. That's right. Reflexology can even help with indigestion. I don't know about you but flatulence cracks me up. If someone cuts the cheese, I can easily be thrown into a giggle fit reminiscent of a 5 year old. But seriously, if you are ever stricken with gas pains, you might want to pay attention to the feature reflex point for today.
Solar Plexus
The solar plexus reflex point can be found directly under the pad of the foot inline with the second toe. Rotate in to this point using the tip of your thumb. If it is a little achy, take a break for a few seconds and reapply pressure.
The solar plexus is a bundle of nerves that is located behind the stomach. These nerves are connect to the digestive system. By stimulating the reflex connected to these nerves you can relax the digestive system and hopefully let things run it's course. As you use this to help yourself and others, please keep in mind that reflexology is not a cure for anything. It gets things stimulated and moving so that our body can get back to healing itself.
